This post totally makes me smile…for so many different reasons. The obvious being because these kiddos are totally adorable and have the most gorgeous mama ever! But also because their mom is such an amazing, giving and true friend. People like that don’t come around very often and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Not only is she an amazing friend but also an incredible photographer that has photographed my kids and myself more times than she probably would have liked to, HAHA! To return the favor, I had the honor of photographing my fabulous friend, Kristin and her super special kids. They were so good for me and made my job a piece of cake! I love working with other photographers bc they always know how to dress just perfectly for a session and they are on top of how to pose themselves, which is obvious here! Hope you all enjoy seeing these as much I enjoyed taking them!

I adore photographing children of all ages but there is something amazing about a 6 month old (around that age in general). They are able to sit up, still manage to give you a little eye contact, they are super smiley and most importantly…they can’t run away!!! Yesterday I had a crazy time taking pictures of little Mia, with both my own kids in tow, it made for quite the crazy scene. I had Marlowe in my Ergo and Olivia wanting to pretend to be Mia’s sister so that she could be in the “family” pics. Oh lordy, I had my hands full. But in the end, of course, it all worked out and I was able to capture some gorgeous shots!

Tonight, my friend Cecily and her sweet little guy Eli came over for a photo play date. Olivia and Eli get along quite well…they enjoy roaring, running and being just plain crazy! I love watching them play together! Tonight, I asked Eli to kiss Olivia on the cheek and he might have stolen a kiss right on her big ol’ lips! Sneaky little guy! Anyway, here they are in all their cuteness!

Yesterday, the girls and I spent our day hanging out with fellow photographer, Kristin Rachelle, at her amazing studio in her house. We had so much fun! I had intended to take pictures too but then Kristin ended up including me in most of the shots. I almost can’t believe that I am going to have some pictures of ME with my girls! I am so excited to see them and feel so constantly blessed to have such an amazing friend in Kristin. She is awesome! Anyhow, here is the only picture I took the whole day and I just adore it.

Just a few hours ago, my child had mid-back length hair and it was looking super scraggly! I took a leap of faith and decided to chop it all off, in spite of having a couple not-so-cute short cuts on her in the past. And even though this isn’t the best cut ever, she rocks it and looks absolutely adorable! I can’t believe how grown up she looks and how gorgeous she has become. Yikes!

Check out this adorable family…aren’t these the 2 cutest little guys ever?! Baby Cooper is a couple weeks younger than my Marlowe, so I was super excited to meet and photograph him. And look at big brother, he was too cute! In typical 2 year old fashion, he wanted nothing to do with me. I was lucky enough to get a few shots of him that I think are awesome and complete proof that he refused to give me any eye contact! HAHA! And go figure, the weather has been insanely hot and beautiful the past week, then it gets foggy and cold just in time for our session! But we did our best to make it a good time anyway!
