After vowing to quit weighing myself 100x a day, I made Friday my official weigh-in day.  Well, that would be today!  I am one of those people that feels like weighing myself has to be done under the most perfect condition, as in empty stomach, butt naked and since I am nursing, I have to make sure my boobs aren’t full of milk!  Those suckers could easily weigh 5lbs each, right???  With working super early and having a lot do with the kids in the morning, I wasn’t able to weigh til after work and therefore, I had consumed breakfast and my boobs weren’t totally empty, lol.  So I would like to tell myself that if the planets had aligned perfectly and all of my requirements for weigh in (no food in stomach, butt naked, empty boobs)…then I may have even weighed less, right?!  HAHA :).

Anyhow, I do want to give myself a shoutout for meeting one of my running goals today.  I wanted to run a mile in under 12min/mile and today, I ran 2 miles, both under my goal!  And as of today, I have lost 14lbs since beginning my walking/running program on 3/18/10.  And even though that is very slow, it is a healthy pace and I plan to keep each pound off!  And most importantly, I shocked myself and am running way more than I am walking.  I am so excited for my 5K next Saturday and my Disneyland 5K in September is keeping me very motivated!  I can’t wait for this weight to be gone and be myself again.  Getting older and trying to recover from both pregnancies is rough, but I will get beyond this.
