I am totally pregnant. And here are few pictures of her nursery to go along with my belly.

And unfortunately, this is the best shot we got, sorry so tiny. Due to my low amniotic fluid, the tech says it was hard to maneuver her around to get a better shot, bummer. But at least I got to see her again and I can tell she is gonna be just as beautiful as Olivia. We also have her official name now….after much discussion regarding her chinese middle name (my husband is half-chinese and we honor his culture by giving our children chinese middle names). Her name is Marlowe Lin (pronounced Lynn). Glad we got that all worked out!

I have no words…I will just NOT be taking her picture for a VERY long time. We were not on speaking terms by the end of this…and if you are a photographer with a child this age, you understand exactly what I mean, LOL. And now that I am on bedrest, there is no opportunity for more. So unfortunately, what I got was all I got and we are stuck with them, as my butt is implanted to the couch now days. However, now I do have more time to sit and edit pictures of her, so that is nice.

I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and once again, as with my last pregnancy, am on bedrest due to high blood pressure and other fun complications. The only bonus to this situation is seeing my beautiful daughter’s face more than I ever have in the last 3 years of her life. I adore her more than words can say and although it sucks to have a complicated pregnancy, she brings me peace, joy and more love than I have ever known. I am so lucky…
Ok, well maybe not so lucky today bc I asked if she could let me take her picture in baby sister’s nursery. It is practically empty and I thought I could take a few shots of her pretty face against a cleanly painted wall, which is not normally my style. She agreed and even asked me to take her picture with her baby doll, who has a matching aviator hat.
So we went in the room, I plopped my fat, pregnant self on the floor so that I wasn’t exerting any energy or raising my blood pressure…little did I know she had other plans. 137 pictures later, she refused to look at me in ANY of them but one, the very first one. She did say I could take a picture of her silly face as long as I showed my friends…so you will see this one here.
And so here are the chaotic images from our morning, that turned out to be a battle. Needless to say, she is off playing with her friends at daycare while I rest now.

And bc I promised….here is her “silly face”, which mommy didn’t think was so silly in the midst of things, LOL.

Alrighty…here is the Grubbs family, 2009. This has become an annual thing and I just love working with them! This is Olivia’s daycare family and the best part is that I was able to show up for our quick session in my yoga pants and hoodie, LOL. It doesn’t get much more comfy than that! Hope you guys love them this year!
