Ok, I just wanted to share my exciting news with my readers…we are doing our first ever master bedroom makeover at our house this weekend!!! I know it may shock some, but we never have painted in our new house (which we have been living in for almost 3 years) and we have never had a bedroom set. Our furniture is fine, but we didn’t have a matching headboard or anything. So yesterday, as my bday present (which is on 9/24), I ordered myself a new bedframe from Pottery Barn, which if you know me…you won’t be shocked that I chose a beautiful antique white headboard, which will go perfectly with our furniture!
I also proceeded to drag my family to Lowe’s last night and bought some beautiful paint for our bedroom! NO MORE WHITE WALLS!!! So this weekend, the painting begins and our new bedframe arrives on 9/4…I will finally feel like an adult, LOL! It is so odd how decorating your home/bedroom can make you suddenly feel like a grown up.
